The hotel's location is in the heart of the vibrant city right overlooking the pedestrian boulevard and close to places of interests and restaurants. Good breakfast buffet choice (local and some western)and chefs cooking omelettes etc to order. The breakfast room is spacious, nicely decorated with large windows so you can watch street activity below and table layout include seating for 2, 4, 6 and larger circular tables for groups too. All the staff from doormen, bell boys, to reception, restaurant, and cleaning room team, were so efficient, friendly and kind. It was a pleasure to stay in their well managed hotel. Refurbished rooms have lovely walk-in showers, good lighting, large comfortable beds, guests can select aircon temperature. However do note rooms waiting to be modernised have bath with shower attachment and curtain. Where possible reception will change the hotel room allocated without any problems. Good value and comfortable.

Right in the heart of HCMC, walking distance to food, restaurants, Uncles statue, the Ben Thanh market, the Mekong, war memorial and pretty much everything you need this is an ideal location for a short or long stay. Wonderful service by the staff who predominantly speak English and host you with all you request you won’t be disappointed in the service. A big shout out to Thuan for his wonderful help. The restaurant breakfast is wonderful with a great spread of Vietnamese, Chinese and western food. We enjoyed the Pho and the omelettes with a variety of rices etc. The rooms are large and comfortable with some of the most rested sleep we have had on holiday. Overall an amazing experience and very much worth the stay for the comfort, location and service of the staff.

Great location in District 1 central. I arranged with the hotel to pick us up from the airport (£26). They dropped us at the bottom of the street as the path was closed due to an outdoor concert, which was great. The hotel reception was welcoming and clean, the staff too. The room was a double room, not overly spacious but perfect for our overnight stay. We went straight out after a quick shower, nice flow, hot and toiletries provided. We had a good look around the area before heading back for a really good night’s sleep. Breakfast was a buffet style with a good selection of pastries, fruit, eggs cooked to order, noodles and rice. I would recommend the hotel for location and certainly good value for money.

Royal Hotel Saigon was a great hotel to stay in! The location is excellent — in the heart of district 1 where many things are within walking distance / a short cab ride away, and surrounded by food & shopping hubs. The hotel lobby and rooms are very pretty and clean, the room size was decent, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast had a good spread of western & asian cuisines, as well as fruit and dessert. My favourite was the porridge station, pho station and egg station. The service was excellent, the rooms were always made up well, the staff were nice and attentive to our needs, the doormen always opened the doors with a wide smile on their faces.

The hotel was in an excellent location, within an easy walk of the Post Office and other attractions. Close to restaurants and cafes, although we didn't go to any. The room was large and very clean, it exceeded my expectations. We had a shower over bath which was a bit difficult to get into as the bath was quite deep. They do have rooms with walk in showers so if this is an issue for you request a shower only room. Staff were super friendly and help. Breakfast was really amazing heaps of choices given it was a large hotel. Overall it was a really pleasant stay
